Animal Welfare opens its long-awaited, newly redesigned animal care facility

The Grand Opening will take place May 7, 2011, at the Eastside Animal Care Center. We have 18 rescue groups and 10 pet-related businesses that have committed to this day to help us raise awareness and provide needed education regarding animal welfare issues. The day’s festivities will include entertainment and free pizza from Papa Murphy’s. During the Grand Opening we are hoping members of the public will come in and adopt new pets. Each adoption will include the following:

- Spay or neutering
- Microchip for easy identification or recovery
- All vaccinations required by law
- Free pet care starter kit
