Dear Steve,
School is just right around the corner for us here in Farmington and one
of the things I look forward to the most is getting ready for the day
with you! I turn on the morning news as my husband and I are getting
ready and we listen and watch when we can to you and Marla Tellez. I
appreciate your humor, your platitudes, your pets, and your endearing
personality. The one aspect I appreciate the most is at the end of the
newscast is when you sign off telling viewers to have a nice day and
'may God bless'. That particular phrase has gotten me through all kinds
of days--good and bad. I have always wanted to let you know. Keep up
doing the good work and isn't it amazing how something so simple and
plainly said can mean so much!
