Movies Under the Stars Returns to Angel Fire for Another Great Season of Family Fun

Starting July 9 and continuing each Friday through the month of July, Angel Fire Resort brings you FREE outdoor movies

at the Angel Fire Resort Country Club

ANGEL FIRE, NM (July 5, 2010) – Grab your chairs and blankets and join us at the Angel Fire Resort Country Club for four weeks of Friday night movies under the stars. Starting Friday, July 9^th, Angel Fire Resort will host this popular family summer event on the front lawn of the new Angel Fire Resort Country Club.  The new location offers a natural amphitheater style seating on the grass as well as patio and deck seating and ample parking for a short walk to the screen.  The event is being offered to the public free of charge – complete with free popcorn – and in partnership with the Village of Angel Fire, KKTC True Country 99.9FM, Coca-Cola and Bud Light.

The 2010 family-friendly, movie line-up includes

July 9    “Monsters vs Aliens” – Rated PG

July 16  “Sherlock Holmes” – Rated PG-13

July 23  “Ice Age 3: Dawn of the Dinosaurs” – Rated PG

July 30  “Avatar” – Rated PG-13

Once the sun goes down the evenings tend to get cool at 8,600 feet so moviegoers are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, jackets, picnic baskets, and other materials to make the movie more comfortable and enjoyable. Bringing alcoholic beverages on the premises is prohibited by New Mexico State Law.  Backpacks and coolers will be subject to search. There will be a cash bar available to individuals 21 years of age and older with valid ID. Concessions, including barbeque, sodas, snacks and candy, are also available on site.
