Late Weather Report: Procrastination.....

From: john f bartley
3-5-10, 7:30 a.m.  Dear Steve:  Been watching/listening to you since 5:15 a.m., just been "busy" up till now to respond!!  (phone, employees, cow that is in labor, etc.)
You were absolutley correct on that "tiny weather/snow cell" in the Pecos Wilderness, cause it has been off to our "west" ever since I got up!  We have "flurries blowing over" currently;  33 degrees, peak wind gust = 56 mph, cold!
(So your sophisticated weather equipment is working, and so is "my window"!!  Ha!!)

We haven't "seen the ground" since early January(pretty decent snow cover/snow pack)......total "official recorded snow" so far = 89 inches, however we still have 2 more months of winter, right?  I hope so!  That's it for now.......you been behavin'?

Take care and have a good weekend.......thanks, warm regards from the high country........
