Carlsbad dogs incoming

Tuesday - 40 dogs are coming to us from Carlsbad and other locations
around there. It's a kind of "rescue" operation. They will meet Robin
around noon at the PetSmart on Eubank where they will be transferred to
a WMR vehicle and then brought to the Ranch for processing.

April is Poetry Month

Hey, Stucker...

I don't know if you mentioned it, but April is National Poetry Month. Maybe you can tell your viewers that they can download a daily poetry calendar at thereadingcalendar.com. It's free. I've attached one so you can see what it is. Don't cheat and read all the poems on the same day.

Marla in PJ's?

Hey Steve ,
I enjoyed your news program this morning, but I believe that if you
guys are going for ratings, We would all much rather see Marla in her
sleepwear than you in your jammies.
You guys put on a great show, it gets me going in the morning.
Thanks,
Bill Wright

Puppy Maggie Needs a Home!

We have a puppy who was rescued from a Valencia County shelter.  My girls call her Maggie, and I think she is an Airedale cross. Some type of mid size Terrier for sure.  She is Extremely sweet, and very smart.  She has quickly learned Sit and Lie Down...and is learning Stay & Come.  She still needs to learn her "In House" manners, but accepts correction very easily.  She gets along GREAT with kids and other dogs...but needs some work to learn to get along with cats.  If you are interested, please send me an email at sstucker@kob.com.  She is a bit of a Climber, so you need a good fence...and we prefer a family with kids and other dogs so she will get lots of attention and activity.  We "think" she is about 6 months old..she is not yet House trained, but will learn quickly once she gets settled in.   Thanks and God bless....ss

No More Snow!

NAME: Steve
CITY: Los Alamos
:
COMMENT: First I must tell you that we love your personality and your weather presentation.Too bad your not on during the 10:00 telecast as well. The bright red PJ's this morning (4/1/09) caused me to put my sunglasses on though :). However, that being said, whenever you forecast impending or possible snow, as much as my wife loves you, she has to say "bite me" to the TV screen. You must understand that being from El Paso, we're not used to the amount of snow we've had in Los Alamos in the almost 3 years we've been here. What's more, it sticks around for a very long time afterwards as opposed to El Paso where the snow is gone the same day. Hope you have a great day and keep up the good work. Steve and Peggy

April Fools Day!

Hard Working Realtor Shawna Hicks Reminds us of the Late Great Mark Twain:

Here are a few quotes from Mark Twain.

They were inspired by

 April Fools Day!

  • It's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and leave no doubt. --Mark Twain
  • Let us be thankful for the fools. But for them the rest of us could not succeed. -- Mark Twain
  • The first of April is the day we remember what we are the other 364 days of the year. -- Mark Twain
