Another Tony Dungy book

Hi Steve,
        You reminded me about the Tony Dungy book you mentioned a while back and I checked it out from the library and read it. It was so good and such a testimony to God's goodness. I was watching an interview with him recently and he has another book coming out very soon. The title is: Committed.  It is not available to request yet at the library, but when it is available there, I plan to read it.

        I thought it only fair to return the favor and give you a heads up about a good book, a good author, and a great God.

Obnoxious Steele rFans?

Hi Steve,
I just had to write since I am shocked!
In all the years I've been watching you, I have never ever heard you say anything bad or
detrimental about anyone.  You always find something good to say no matter who or
what the situation is.  
So this morning when I heard you describe the Steeler fans as "obnoxious", my jaw
dropped.  As far as obnoxious goes, there is no one more obnoxious than the Dallas
Cowboys or their fans.
Then again, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

I am very sorry to upset and disappoint you.  I was only trying to be funny...because most our viewers know I cheer for the Cowboys (and yes WE generally are pretty obnoxious).  So it was my attempt at humor...trying to be sarcastic. The idea was that I (underline the I) was the one being obnoxious, not them.  We Cowboy fans are notoriously Poor Losers, and though I consider myself a very Good Sport, I was just playing the part to generate some laughs.  As I've said on-air  many times over the past several mornings, the Steeler fans are great people. I also mentioned how much I admire the team owners and players.  I'm sorry I didn't do a better job of making that clear to you (and probably others).   God bless.....ss
