Back to the Real World Day

      ReAl wOrLD

To the real world,..we returned...
set our dreamings aside,...
forsake,.. not,..bridges burned
back to our, fantasy ride,..
But we start a new year
remembring well of our last,..
To,..take heed into future,.
as well... as all of the past,..

The holidays embibe,...into
ritual space...
Reality,..arrives ..and
sets you back in your place....
We try to understand,..
how we'll genuflect,..and confess
within supply and demand,..
Howdowe.?. fit into this mess.?

We start up the grinding,..
we pick up the speed,..
a pace we're not minding,..
is matching our need,..
Time,..flys by quickly,..
then,..it's over,..undo the collar,..
back the same time,..tomorrow,..
another day,..another dollar.

The ultimate Job???
What would you pick,..?//
one builds up your dreams,..
or just makes you sick,..
no matter which one you'll take
you still ....will return,..
to the life you can make,..
can afford,..and will earn.

Lost Greyhound in Accident

Black greyhound named Noddy was lost on the evening of Dec 26th, when his owners rolled their SUV after hitting black ice in Lordsburg, New Mexico. Please help me reunite them. The owners are residents of Phoenix, but will be recovering in San Antonio, TX with their families. They need our help getting Noddy back.

Noddy was adopted about 9 years ago in San Antonio through the greyhound rescue. His racing name was Sir Noddingham. He does have a tatoo in his ear identifying him, but his collar was not on when the accident occured. He is likely to be injured from the accident, and the cold weather is also putting him in danger. This is a true amber alert! Time is critical. If anyone can pass this on to greyhound and dog lovers around Lordsburg, I would really appreciate it. Hopefully, he was picked up and cared for by someone in the area.

If you have any information, or if you found him, please call Adam at 480-227-0951 or email me at: adamkristoff@gmail.com

Thank you!

Welcome back!

From: TAMARA HUBBARD
Hello Steve~

Tamara Hubbard here at Whispering Pines and Juan Tomas, my husband Brandon and I just wanted to send a shout out to welcome you back and wish you a happy new year, and happy belated birthday too!  On that note, my mother always told me that it is better to say that you are older than your age, that way everyone will tell you how great you look, never say that you are younger, otherwise, well you know.

Will there be snow????

Tamara

Thanks VERY much.  I've been doing just that (lying about my age in reverse)  for about 15 years now...stuck on "54" and loving it. I guess I'm going to have to come up with anew number pretty soon!!   ss
